Enabling Informz Rest API

In order to use the Informz connector, you will need to have the Rest API enabled on your Informz account.  This needs to be done via a request to the Higher Logic support team, you will need to do the following

  1. Create a support case at https://support.higherlogic.com/
  2. Provide your Informz Account Number and Brand ID (these can be found under the user icon in the top right of the screen)
  3. Ask them to enable the Rest API
  4. Provide the FUSE's Range of IP Addresses to whitelist

Once the API is enabled, you will want to create a new user account in Informz that will be used for the integration.  Make sure the user has Administrator level permissions so we can make the required API calls.

Authentication

Once you have a user account created, you will enter the following information into PropFuel

  • Brand ID
  • Username
  • Password
  • Encryption Key - Optionally used if encryption is enabled on the Informz API

Triggers

  • Subscriber Interests - Pulls subscribers that are currently attached to an interest in Informz

Actions

Data can be written back to Informz via a question level workflow.

  • Add Interest - Add an interest to the contact's profile in Informz
