Now that you have provided your GA4 ID to the FUSE Team we can begin funnelling metrics from your Search to your GA4. If you have not provided your GA4ID, please make sure to review this step first.
Reports Google Analytics
Google Reports houses the general overview of all the reporting metrics funnelled to Google Analytics. You can find FUSE Trends (Events) alongside other set events under your reports.
Figure 1 —Google Analytics highlighting the left Menu for Reports
Where to look
In the sidebar, click Reports > Engagements > Events.
Figure 2 —Google Analytics Events Overview
There are three Events for your FUSE Search. You will find them in the table at the bottom of the page. If you don't immediately see the FUSE Event, make sure to confirm you are looking through all the pages. There are 10 Events per page by default. The FUSE Events will show on the table as:
1. fuse_click_search_result
2. fuse_keyword_search
3. fuse_toggle_filter
FUSE Click Search
There are three variables tracked in clicked result, including the title of the result clicked, the keywords and the filter option.
The main variable tracked is fuse_var_1, with additional details is variables 2 filter names and 3 keyword search.

See Appendix for full list of variables and how they are tracked
FUSE Keyword Search
This returns the most popular keywords searched. The only variable tracked is fuse_var_1.

FUSE Toggle Filter
This helps us track what categories are most searched for given the left hand filter. This is helpful to know what categories we can Boost, and add Synonyms.
The main variable tracked is fuse_var_2 which shows the filter names. Variable 3 shows the filter heading, in this example, there is only one filter type. Lastly the variable 1 shows how often the filters are selected and unselected.

Understanding your Results
To better understand your results, get familiar with the variables and what you data is reporting. In this example, we see more users are visiting the search without keywords. Also members in this example are searching names. Is there a filter to better assist this experience? Is it boosted and did they find what they were looking for?

Now that we know how to review the Reports, we can make an Exploration. An exploration simply fine tunes this report in a visually appealing format. It is shareable and can be automated to send out to members of the team.
