Common misspelled words or acronyms? Synonyms solves that. Use synonyms to leverage your search keywords by adding several variations of the same term, or similar keywords that should be recognized as a primary keyword.

FUSE Search will then categorize these terms, so users will always find the content they are looking for whether it's misspelled or a popular term used by members in another city.

Synonym is a sure way to return the same indexes even with different keywords.

How to add add Synonyms

Onboarding Spreadsheet

During your onboarding, we'd like to take care of everything from start to finish- that's what makes this experience turn-key. You can fill out the onboarding spreadsheet, providing the grouped keywords.

On your onboarding spreadsheet tab: Synonyms

Follow the instructions in Row 3:
1. Provide a primary keyword in column B.
2. Provide synonym(s) in the following columns C through Z

Admin Console (Beta)

Post onboarding, we are rolling out our beta Admin Console to our users, so you can make these changes independently.

NB: You would need an admin console to make these changes, please reach out to support if you do not have access

1. Navigate to the menu tab and select Synonyms

4. Click save to complete the entry.

That's it. We index the primary term and its synonyms. So now when you search with the synonym(s), you  get similar results as the primary keyword(s) and vice-versa.
